Back-to-School Roadster Picnic

Madera Canyon, AZ

The road to Madera Canyon was populated with barrel cactus in full bloom. The recent rain brought on a green hue of newly sprouted grass on the normally brown terrain. The twitter of birds and flowing water in Madera Creek left one with the impressions of spring time. Brazen Orange and Aggressive Red colors of the roadsters made a striking contrast with the leaves and new blooms.

After a short hike to find a lovely picnic rock near Madera Creek, the roadsters discovered a flight of butterflies near the water. The afternoon passed with great conversation while dining on one's favorite picnic fare.

On to begin a new school year.
