Mark your calendars for the Valentines Day, Roadster Be Mine Picnic. Chart your course for the center of all that is Arizona. Picacho Peak State Park is located near mile marker 219 off the Interstate 10 about half way between Tucson and Phoenix.

Bring your Valentine and your roadster for a wonderful drive through the wilds of Arizona. This is a "pot-luck" event. Plan on bringing a serving size for four (4) of your favorite foods. Water is a must. Your Frisbee, sunscreen, hat, good walking shoes, camera, and whatever are required. Juanis will have the paper goods, tableware, table cloths and that "famous senior citizen entertainment item" --- The Arizona Highway's Jigsaw Puzzle.

New hiway reconstruction of the I-10, Exit 219, bridges will be a headache. Follow the detour signs; it's like a giant slalom of orange traffic cones.

The Picacho Peak State Park requires a daily fee for your car. The directions to the picnic table will be with the park ranger at front entry to the park.
