This edition of the Tucson Roadsters' Picnic on Mt Lemmon was a hit.Two catsup and mustard roadsters appeared at the Babat Daug scenic vista with picnic ware in tow. Three attended in spirit as the rain clouds threatened the early afternoon picnic activities.
Across the meadow and throught the woods these persistent roadsters continued in search of the "perfect picnic table." Near the top of the mountain adjacent to Sykes Nobb, they found the best table at the Box Elder Picnic Area. Complete with an extraordinary view of Reddington in the San Pedro River Valley and the Galiuro Mountain Range.
The afternoon was sunny and cool among the pines. The picnic menu included an assortment of sandwiches, varieties of trail mixes, and fruits. A wonderful drive and a nice retreat from the summer heat in Tucson. Ummm, next roadster Picnic . . . .
Saturday, September 19th, 10:30-11:00AM.

We might stay on the mountain long enough to look through UA SkyCenter telescopes at the night sky. Return is in the late afternoon on your own or with the last one.
